Breakwater Bay Garden

A minimalist garden for a contemporary home

The Breakwater Bay Estate is an Eco Estate that places special emphasis on responsible landscape design, whereby most of the garden must be rehabilitate to its natural, pre-construction state.

To compliment the contemporary design of the house, the clients asked us to design their garden using native grasses in a muted colour palette. Because we were restricted on colour, we decided to create a garden that is all about texture. We combined feathery grasses with large-leaved succulents to create moments of interest in the garden.
